Hello! I'm M Hobbes, the artist behind Halo-Halo Home's quirky greetings and artwork.
Monsters, ghosts, aliens and fantastical creatures have been a passion of mine since childhood. These creatures gave me comfort and fuelled my imagination through books, movies and folktales. Being an 'oddball' kid, the strange and macabre always put a smile on my face. And now, though my work, I wish to bring happiness to anyone who might have felt a little bit different at any point in their lives.
The story behind the name Halo-Halo Home: Halo-Halo is a delicious dessert from the Philippines and literally means "mix mix" As my home is a mixed race, mixed up, blended family of creatives, I thought it was an apt name for my designs.
